  3.      Systems Strategies/Apertus EXPRESS for Solaris x86

  5. Systems Strategies/Apertus EXPRESS(R) communications software 
  6. products are now available to link systems running SunSoft's 
  7. Solaris(TM) x86 operating environment to IBM(R) mainframe and 
  8. AS/400 systems. The EXPRESS product family comprises high-
  9. performance, easy-to-use software for SNA connectivity, IBM 
  10. terminal emulation, application development and data access.

  12. EXPRESS SNA Server is a full-featured implementation of IBM's 
  13. System Network Architecture that provides communications between 
  14. Solaris systems and IBM mainframe or AS/400 systems running over 
  15. SNA/SDLC, QLLC or Token Ring. The EXPRESS Integrated Desktop 
  16. provides IBM 3270, 5250 and 3179-G terminal emulation, and 
  17. supports CPI-C, EHLLAPI, LUA and NetView applications for linking 
  18. Solaris systems to IBM mainframes, AS/400s, and TCP/IP host 
  19. systems in a multitasking desktop environment.

  21. The EXPRESS API Software Development Kit is for development of 
  22. CPI-C, EHLLAPI, LUA and Network Management applications. The 
  23. EXPRESS Data Transfer Services package provides a series of 
  24. applications that enable users to perform bi-directional file 
  25. transfer and printer sharing, execute remote jobs, and easily 
  26. develop program-to-program applications using a common interface 
  27. for simple LU6.2 programming.
